The safety mat is a pressure-sensitive protection device used in industrial production. When the carpet is subjected to a weight exceeding approximately 30kg (PSM4)/25kg (PSM6) (approximately the weight of one adult's a foot on the carpet), the switch will be triggered and the controller will immediately send a stop signal to the machine, thereby protecting the operator from external harm and ensuring safe production of the enterprise.
SDetermination of the working conditions of the safety area
For example, whether it is heavy oil pollution, whether there are sparks, whether there are corrosive liquids, and the weight of the heaviest object on the carpet. If there are these special circumstances. You need to inform the salesperson.

Correct selection of laying area size
Provide the size of the safety protection area or the safety mat (including the total installation size of the aluminum alloy frame). It is not recommended to equip it with a frame if it is less than 400*400mm. The frame has no sensing function and stepping on the frame will disperse the weight. It can be customized into special shapes and drawings must be provided.

Safety mat model selection
Safety mat - hard mat PSM4, this model is usually sent by default. Durable and of very good quality. But not suitable for sizes below 500*500mm. The trigger force is about 30KG, suitable for manual reset of safety relays.
Safety mat - soft mat PSM6, more sensitive, with a trigger force of about 25KG, very suitable for small sizes, such as below 500*500mm. Suitable for automatic reset.
Safety mat - soft mat PSM11, thickness 10~11mm, more sensitive, with a trigger force of about 20KG, very suitable for narrow locations.

Selection of safety relay
The standard safety relay of the safety carpet is SRC106 (with automatic and manual reset functions), and the power supply is DC24V.
If the safety relay is not equipped, please confirm the technical parameters of the safety carpet. The carpet has 2 sets of passive normally open points, the maximum voltage and current cannot exceed 5V100mA, and can be connected to an external 1.2K ohm or 8.2K ohm resistor.

Safety mat protection factor
The default protection factor of the safety mat is IP65. If you need to customize IP67, please contact the sales staff for instructions.

The default is 4-wire-K type. When multiple carpets need to be connected in series, use 4-wire-KF type. The built-in resistor (8.2KΩ) is R type, and you can also use KF type external resistor (recommended)
